UNDP Launches Government Blockchain Academy to Foster Crypto Literacy
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is spearheading a new initiative to bridge the knowledge gap in blockchain technology for public sector officials. The Government Blockchain Academy, set to commence preparatory work in 2025, will focus on five critical areas: inclusive digital finance, transparent governance, supply chain integrity, climate resilience, and verifiable digital identities.
Crypto adoption continues its upward trajectory globally, with India, the U.S., and Pakistan leading the charge. As corporations increasingly integrate digital assets into their reserves, the demand for institutional-grade crypto education has surged. The UNDP's program aims to equip governments with the tools to navigate this evolving landscape effectively.
